There was a Shiva temple on the banks of a river, a priest and a thief used to visit the temple every day according to their faith. Where Panditji used to worship Lord Shiva everyday with fruits, flowers, milk, sandalwood etc. While there, that thief used to narrate lies to God everyday and kept cursing his fate.
One day Panditji and the thief came out of the temple together. As soon as he left, the thief found a bag full of gold coins. While at the same time a nail entered in Panditji's leg.
The thief was very happy to find the bag full of gold coins. While Panditji was troubled by the pain, but Panditji was more pained than the pain of the nail that God gave me pain in return even after I had done worship. Whereas in return of this thief's misdeeds, he got a reward in the form of gold coins.
Then a voice came from the temple - O Pandit! Today a big accident was going to happen to you. But because of your good deeds, you were freed only after getting the pain of being nailed. While there was a chance of getting immense wealth in the fate of this thief today. But due to his misdeeds he has got only a few currencies.
A man's future and fortune gets spoiled only by good deeds. That's why faith should always be maintained in good deeds.
