In olden times, two Brahmin sons lived in a city, one was poor and the other rich, both were neighbours. The poor Brahmin's wife used to taunt him everyday and fight.
One day on the day of Gyaras, the poor Brahmin son, fed up with the quarrels, goes towards the forest. Thinking that a lion or any carnivore in the forest would kill and eat him. That creature's stomach will be full and after death it will be free from daily worries.
While going to the forest, he sees a cave, he goes towards the cave. A lion is sleeping in the cave and a swan is guarding it so that the lion's sleep is not disturbed.
When the swan sees the Brahmin's son coming from afar, he thinks in worry. This Brahmin will come, the lion will wake up and kill him and eat him. On the eleventh day, I will incur sin, how to save him?
He understands the solution and he praises the fate of the lion and says, O king of the jungle, wake up, wake up, today your parts are open, Vipradev himself has come to your house on the day of Gyaras, wake up early and send him off by giving him Dakshina, your salvation will be yours again. Hardly come in life, you will get rid of animal vagina.
The lion wakes up roaring, the words of the swan seem right to him and he puts the ornaments of the humans who were hunted in the past at the feet of the Brahmin, bows his head, licks their feet with his tongue.
Hans signals to the Brahmin, Vipradev, pick up all these ornaments and go back to your home as soon as possible, this is a lion, when will his mind change. The Brahmin understands and returns home. When the wife of the neighboring rich Brahmin comes to know everything, she too forcefully sends her husband to the same lion's cave in the jungle.
Now the guard of the lion changes, the new guard is the crow. Like the tendency of a crow, it thinks, it is good that the Brahmin has come to wake up the lion. If a lion disturbs its sleep, gets angry, kills a Brahmin, then I will also get some, my stomach will be full.
Thinking this he shouts crow-crow-crow, the lion wakes up in anger, his eyes fall on the other Brahmin. He remembers the talk of the swan, he understands why the crow is cawing.
He doesn't want to end his religion which was done at the behest of Hans in the past. Still, a lion is the king of the jungle! He roars and says to the Brahmin: The swan flew to the Sarvar, and now the crow is afraid of the head, then go to Vipra Thanre Ghare, I am Kinaini Jijman.
Means the swan which was having good thinking and good attitude has flown away to the lake i.e. the pond and now the crow is the main watchman. who is inciting me to kill you. O Brahmin, before my mind wanders! Go away from here, the lion has not become the judge of anyone. He was a swan who made even a lion do good deeds to me.
The other Brahmin understands the whole thing, and out of fear immediately runs away towards his home saving his life. It means to say, the swan and the crow are none other than our own characters.
Someone who gets sad seeing someone's sorrow and thinks well of him, he is a swan.
And the one who wants to see someone sad, who cannot tolerate someone's happiness, is a crow.
Those who want to live together in brotherhood, they are of swan nature. Those who quarrel and have a tendency to kill and loot each other are of the nature of crows. Identify the crows hiding around you, stay away from them and cooperate with those who have swan tendency, everyone's welfare is hidden in this.
