What not to do during pregnancy

 1) Do not lift heavy weights, such as a bucket filled with water, a seal, a heavy chair, a box, etc.


2) Do not stand for a long time. If you have to stand in the kitchen for a long time, then if you want, keep a chair there.


3) Minimize the use of stairs. If you do not live on the ground floor and you have to go down under compulsion, then try to finish all your work in one go. It would be appropriate to make a to-do list for this. Get down the stairs by holding the railing.


4) Do not wear heeled sandals or chappals. Always wear flat slippers, if you go to office then use flat sandals only.


5) Do not take outside food, especially junk foods, such as pizza, burger, etc. Do not eat in hotels, marriages etc. Their purity is not guaranteed and you may get an infection.


6) Don't eat fried and spicy, they can cause gas, acidity, burning sensation.


7) Do not take medicines during pregnancy without the advice of your gynecologist. Do not take claims from yourself even for minor ailments.


8) Travel at least during pregnancy. Avoid two wheeler, three wheeler. Even if you have to go to office by public transport under compulsion, then catch the bus only in odd-timings, when the crowd is minimum.


9) Do not watch stressful or scary serials or movies during pregnancy.


10) Do not do any work in which you have to face excessive stress.


11) Do not wear tight clothes during this time.


12) It has been found in some studies that excessive use of mobile phone during pregnancy can be harmful for the child.

13) Don't stay alone. If you stay alone, always keep your mobile recharged.


14) Do not take bath while standing in the bathroom, and confirm that there is no danger of slipping due to accumulation of moss etc.


15) Do not smoke during pregnancy, and do not let anyone else smoke near you. Passive smoking can also put the child at risk.

16) Avoid intake of caffeine. That's why avoid Coffee, Soda, Green and Black Tea, Cold Drinks. Chocolate also contains caffeine but in less quantity, so you can have chocolate occasionally.


17) Some fishes like tuna fish, king mackerel, tilefish, etc. have high mercury content, don't eat them. Consuming these can affect the development of the baby's brain.


18) Do not consume these things in the first three months: soft unpasteurised cheeses, raw eggs, salad dressings, raw fish, processed meats such as sausages and also meat spreads. These things contain some bacteria that can cause disorders like salmonella, toxoplasmosis and listeriosis, which can cause congenital defects in the child.


19) Avoid the faeces of your pets. They may contain a harmful parasite called Toxoplasma gondii which can damage the brain of the foetus.


20) Do not go in the midst of strong smell for the first three months, this will reduce your chances of nausea, vomiting.

21) Do not jump at all. Do not do any such activity in which there is a risk of falling.


22) Do not do any exercise without medical advice.


23) Don't eat less. Eat more than what you usually eat. Usually an infant needs 300 calories, so take at least that many calories. Also keep in mind that you are not eating more than you need.


24) Do not take bath in a bath tub filled with hot water. Especially in the first months. Due to this, the temperature inside the body increases, which is like a child having fever. By doing this the child can be born with birth defects.


25) Don't be thirsty. Keep drinking water from time to time. This will keep the blood circulation right. There is a risk of premature delivery on being dehydrated.


26) Don't sleep on your stomach.


27) Stay away from X-Ray during pregnancy
