In the case of sexual harassment of six adult wrestlers, the difficulties of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, former president of Wrestling Federation of India, may increase. The Delhi Police, in its charge sheet filed against Singh, has claimed that he may be prosecuted. In this, the police has made the statements of 15 witnesses related to the case the primary basis.
His testimony is being considered important in the whole case. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has to appear in the court on July 18 in this case. The Delhi Police claimed in the charge sheet that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh could be prosecuted on the basis of investigation into the complaints of six wrestlers. He deserves to be tried and punished for offenses like sexual harassment, molestation and stalking.

The police had filed a chargesheet against Singh on June 13 under IPC sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 354 (outraging the modesty of a woman), 354A (sexual harassment) and 354D (stalking). Taking cognizance of the chargesheet, the Rouse Avenue Court has summoned Brij Bhushan and Vinod Tomar, former co-secretary of the federation, on July 18.

In the charge sheet, the statement given by the wrestlers before the magistrate has been considered as an important basis. At the same time, evidence of his presence at the alleged place of sexual abuse has also been found. According to the chargesheet, the case of stalking and blocking the wrestlers dates back to 2012.
In this, the woman wrestler who complained said that Brij Bhushan talked to her mother during a tournament and forcibly took her by calling her to his room. When the female wrestler returned home, he started calling her mother's number several times on different pretexts. He even had to change his phone number to avoid calls from Brij Bhushan.
