India will host the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant this year.
The prestigious international beauty pageant will be held in India after nearly three decades. The last time India hosted it was in 1996, 27 years ago.
Julia Morley, president of the Miss World Organization, said India will host the 71st Miss World finals.
He can't wait to share India's unique and diverse culture, world-class attractions and breathtaking locations with the rest of the world.
This is going to be the best Miss World ever. Beauty from more than 130 countries will participate in this month-long event.
