Google Pay' users often get 'Contact is now on Google Pay' notification. Which tells that the person added to your contact list is using the Google Pay app.
You can easily 'disable' the 'Contact is now on Google Pay' alert on your smartphone. For this, you must first open the 'Google Pay' app on your smartphone. Now click on the 'Profile' picture in the top right corner of the screen, then select the 'Settings' option.
Now click on the 'Notifications & Email' option. Here, toggle the 'Friends Activity' option to 'Off'. Once toggled off, Google Pay users will not receive any information regarding their contacts joining the platform.
Users can re-enable the 'Alerts' feature by following the procedure mentioned above, whenever required. To enable the service, you have to finally select the toggle 'On' option.
